Education for Cinema and TV in times of stereoscopy

Andreas Westphal and Max Hemmo will present their research project „s3DNOW!“ and explain the interdisciplinary methods of cross-producing at the HFF (University „Konrad Wolf“ Potsdam, Germany).
In summer 2011, four s3D short movies have been produced as a result of educational test- and learning-laboratory. Crucial question points were aesthetic thoughts about the impact of 3D in areas of SlowMotion, Vertigo, Role Models, Art and consuming behaviours. Furthermore, the influence of stereoscopy on traditional methods of operating has been scientifically investigated. For instance, how he stereographer impacts on the relation between Camera operator and director. Seven authors published a Book on those topics to be released on 1st June titled „s3D NOW“ at specialist publisher Schiele & Schön. Among them Alain Derobe, Stereographer on PINA and Yvonne Thomas, EBU Engineer.
