Education for Cinema and TV in the timeage of stereoscopy. By exemplifying the international researchproject „s3D NOW“, Andreas Westphal and Max Hemmo will elucidate interdisciplinary methods of HFF (University „Konrad Wolf“ Potsdam, Germany) on how to reasearch, educate and produce. In summer 2011, four s3D short movies accrued as a result of a educational- test- and learning- laboratory. Crucial question points were asthetic thoughts about the impact of 3D effects in areas of SlowMotion, Vertigo effect and depth of focus, just to name a few. Furthermore, the influence of stereoscopy on traditional methods of operating have been scientificly investigated. For instance, how the stereographer breaks open the relation between Camera operator and director. Seven authors wrote a book on those topics to be released on 4th April titled „s3D NOW“ at the specialist publisher Schiele & Schön.
